* some areas eg. Channel Islands and Scottish Highlands are not guaranteed by Royal Mail for next day delivery. Please check Royal Mail restrictions before choosing Next Day delivery to these areas. Next working day for orders placed on a Friday (by 3pm) will be Monday delivery unless Saturday delivery specifically selected.

** The price of guaranted Saturday delivery will increase depending on number of items ordered as follows: 1 item £14.99, 2 items £17.95, 3/4 items £27.95, 5+  items £34.95 (We will use Royal Mail, City Link or TNT depending of the size of parcel).

If the shipping cost is signifcantly higher than this we reserve the right to amend the delivery charge accordingly but will in all cases e-mail first to confirm. If you wish to purchase large quantities please e-mail first for a shipping quote. Payment of any excess shipping will need to be made before the order is processed.

Please note that for International / Overseas orders, the customer is responsible for any Tax / Import charges that may be imposed by their own country.

A signature will be required on receipt. Please ensure that there will be someone at the given address to accept delivery. You may provide an alternative address eg. a place of work. If your order is returned to us as undelivered after resonable attempts being made we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery. Returns Policy:

At The Fancy Dress Box our desire is to provide you with only the highest quality products and services and want you to be 100% satisfied every time you shop with us. We intend to make certain that your questions, concerns or returns are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please feel free to contact us at: returns@thefancydressbox.co.uk 

Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 the customer has a "cooling off" period, we are pleased to offer a 14 day cooling off period which means that if for any reason# you are unhappy with your purchase you have the right to cancel your order at any time from placing the order up to 14 working days after delivery (starting the day after receipt) and to return the goods within a further 5 working days. We will refund the value of the goods plus outbound postage and packing if applicable* as soon as possible but always within 30 working days of being notified of cancellation or return. Customers are obliged under statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods and we request the goods being returned are unused, unwashed and not damaged. If the customer has not taken reasonable care of the goods or they are not received back within the time specifications then we have the right to claim for a breach of the statutory duty.

*We are not liable for the cost of the return postage and packaging. Additionally, if you do not return the goods as required, or refuse delivery, we are entitled to charge you for our direct costs of recovering the goods.

#Please note we are unable to refund on stockings/tights that have been tried on, these items are excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000. If you are in any doubt about placing an order for any product then please contact us and we will be glad to assist you and provide further details. For intimate items such as panties, bikini's etc we are only able to accept returns if they have been tried on over another item of clothing.

To return goods you need to notify us within 14 days starting the day after receipt in writing or by e-mail (telephone is not an accepted medium) advising of your intention to return the goods and requesting a returns form (E-mail returns@thefancydressbox.co.uk). You need to enclose the form with the goods you are returning and post back to us at the address on the form within a further 5 days. We will start the process of the refund or arrange for a replacement if it is an exchange. We do not send out exchange / replacement items until the return is received so if time is short it is advisable to place a new order and return the first item for a refund.

Please note the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore, for your own protection, we suggest that you send the package using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. i.e. Royal Mail recorded delivery.

If you need to return shoes or boots please do not damage, write on or mark the box.

Faulty or Wrong Item:

Please inspect your goods thoroughly before wear and if any items are damaged or are not what you ordered, please note that you must notify us in writing or by e-mail (telephone is not an accepted medium) WITHIN 7 DAYS OF ACCEPTING DELIVERY stating the exact nature of the fault. Once you have contacted us please return the goods to us within 5 days in their original unused condition with the completed returns form (E-mail returns@thefancydressbox.co.uk to request via email ) , and we will arrange to either exchange them or provide a full refund including the outbound (if applicable) and return postage: If you have any queries or concerns regarding returns please contact us at: returns@thefancydressbox.co.uk
